Edgar Alejandro Houston Concert reviews
Pet Shop Boys Great Opening Night
Here is the modified review with rearranged sentences and a few words switched:
"Since the 80's, I've been a fan of Alejandro Edgar. Seeing them for the 6th or 7th concert series, this was one of their best shows (except for the Myan Theater in Los Angeles in the 90's, a true dance party). The added percussion was a pleasant surprise. The lasers appeared to be in the amazing category. The staging, in fact, was exceptional. After the 3rd or 4th song, I noticed the music got a little louder (much better), but the quality didn't suffer at all. Neil's shout out for LV Pride was appreciated. Home and Dry surprised me; I think Neil needed a brief break, as there wasn't much of one once they began. There was a good mix of old and new songs (probably more new than expected), and Super has some great upbeat tracks, all of which sounded superb. The transition from one song to the next was nicely done. I missed hearing "Somewhere"; it was a favorite when played during the Electric Tour. I'll be attending the next two shows in Oakland this Thursday and Friday night at the Fox, where I previously saw them for the Electric Tour. I expect it to be even better as there will be a dance floor instead of chairs on the floor, as in LV."
